Course image Medical Imaging
Second Semester

Medical imaging encompasses a range of technologies—such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine—that enable non-invasive visualization of internal body structures. These tools are vital for accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring disease progression. Each modality offers unique advantages: MRI excels in soft tissue contrast, CT provides detailed bone and organ imaging, ultrasound is safe and real-time, and nuclear medicine reveals metabolic activity. Together, they enhance patient care by improving early detection and guiding interventions.
