This course is an introduction to the concept of democracy and an explanation of its historical origin. It shows the most important characteristics and components of democracy. Enumerates the forms of democracy and their relationship to state institutions. Explains the types of democracy and its most important manifestations.
The student's knowledge of:
1- Know the meaning of democracy and its historical origin.
2- Know the types of democracy.
3- Definition of what human rights are.
4- Learning about human rights in ancient civilizations.
Workshop practice is the backbone of the real industrial environment which helps to develop and enhance relevant technical hand skills required by the students, for their work in the various engineering industries and workshops. This course intends to impart basic know-how of various hand tools and their use in different sections of manufacturing.
Effective workshops encourage interaction between the facilitators and the students to help the explore solutions to challenges they face in their programs. Workshops will increase participants awareness of issues and opportunities related to enhancing the first year engineering experience at multiple levels (e.g. learning, teaching, advising, retention, diversity, inclusion and other important topics listed in the call for participation).
اللغة العربية ليست وسيلة تخاطب وتواصل بين الناس وحسب، بل إن اللغة هُوية تختزل ماضي الأمة وإرثها الحضاري والسيادي وتقترن قوتها بقوة أبنائها، وتجسد حاضرها.لذا يهدف هذا المقرر إلى إكساب بعض المهارات التطبيقية في مستويات اللغة العربية؛الصوتية النطقية، والصرفية، والدلالية المعجمية، وكذلك النحوية، والإملائية، والبلاغية، والتعبير الشفوي والكتابي من خلال الوحدات الدراسية المقدمة.
بعد الانتهاء من دراسة هذا المقرر، سيكون الطالب قادراً على أن:
- يطبق المهارات الرئيسية لعلم الصرف، كالميزان الصرفي ، والتخلص من التقاء الساكنين ، وإسناد الأفعال للضمائر.
- يستخرج معاني الكلمات من المعاجم التي تختلف في منهج تأليفها .
- تعامل مع مختلف النصوص الادبية ويستقرأ منها.
- يوضح نوع القضايا البلاغية في النصوص والأمثلة.
- يصوب الأخطاء الإملائية الشائعة.
- يضع علامات الترقيم في مواضعها الصحيحة.
- يطبق مهارة قراءة الاستماع والقراءة الجهرية.
- يطبق مهارة التعبير الشفوي والتعبير الكتابي.
D.C. Circuits is an in-depth study of Direct Current (DC) electronic circuits. Students will learn how to interpret and create electrical schematics. Topics of study include Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Laws, resistance, capacitance, and inductance. Students will gain hands-on experience with wiring to include soldering, crimping, and heat shrinking. In the lab, students will learn how to use multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes to build and analyze common DC Circuits. The lab work will focus on validating theoretical calculations by building circuits and testing them for expected performance.
Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be proficient at using electronic test equipment to measure and analyze the performance of DC circuits.
- Students will be able to communicate the results of their analysis in a professional manner using industry standard schematics and report formats.
- Students will be able to employ mathematical tools and fundamental laws to conduct analysis of complex DC circuits.
