Course Description:
This course is designed to equip students of Information Technology and Medical Physics with the essential English language skills required for effective communication in academic and professional settings. It focuses on developing core competencies in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with an emphasis on technical and medical terminology. The course also covers strategies for understanding and analyzing scientific and technical texts, writing reports and academic papers, and delivering professional presentations. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently use English in their studies and future careers.
this course provides a comprehensive introduction to calculus, covering both differentiation and integration.student will explore fundamental concepts such as limits, continuity, derivatives, and their applications in analyzing functions. the course also includes integration techniques, definite and idenfinite integrals, and their applications in sloving real-world problems. emphasis is placed on problem-solving skills and practical applications in science.
This course introduces the concepts in static electricity, magnetism, and circuit analysis.
Topics include DC circuits (current, voltage, Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws, network reduction), AC circuits (time-dependent signals, phasor diagrams, complex impedance), and RL, RC, and RLC circuits (resonance, frequency response, filters). Students will learn about Thevenin and Norton equivalents, power transfer, circuit protection, and the basics of sensors, actuators, and diode applications such as rectification and voltage stabilization.
The course encourages active participation through lectures, tutorials, and simple experiments, promoting critical thinking and practical problem-solving skills.
Organic Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Warith Al-Anbiya, focuses on the study of carbon-containing compounds, including hydrocarbons and their derivatives. Students learn about the structure, reactions, and properties of organic compounds, along with their applications in fields such as pharmaceuticals and chemical industries. The course includes theoretical lectures and practical lab experiments, aiming to enhance students’ understanding and practical application of organic chemistry.
This course contains the following: Topics such as variables and data types, control flow structures, functions and scripts, data import/export, data analysis, plotting and visualization, numerical computations, algorithm development, simulations and modeling. These contents aim to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of MATLAB's capabilities, programming concepts, and practical application in various domains
