Forensic medicine is a branch of pathology that studies the medical aspects of all cases brought before the courts.
Forensic medicine is taught at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University /college of medicine to fourth-year students over two semesters. The purpose of teaching forensic medicine is to prepare students to handle police cases in hospitals after graduation, write initial, periodic, and final forensic medical reports, and conduct forensic medical examinations of death cases.
